Preference for print books or e-books by UK consumers 2017

E-books might weigh less than their print counterparts, and they might be a convenient choice for people on the go, but print books are still the most favorite choice amongst readers in the UK. This is according to the Survey Data Table for the Statista survey on e-books in the United Kingdom 2017 which shows that over 35% of the book lovers prefer to read from just the physical version.

This might have something to do with the nostalgic feel of the old guard as print books allow you the luxury of turning their pages. You can build physical libraries with them and even though more than 11 million people used e-book readers in Great Britain 2017, publishers still made way more money from the sale of physical books.

This data shows that almost 15% of all the respondents are equally fond of reading from either one of these options but only 5% of the readers prefer to read just from the digital books.
