Latin America: number of BTS necessary for mobile broadband quality 2015-2020

It has been estimated that Mexico would need 62 thousand base transceiver stations in 2020 to satisfy the mobile broadband traffic demand and increase the coverage. The investments necessary to achieve this target were valued at nearly 13 billion U.S. dollars between 2016 and 2020.
