Argentina: number of domestic trips 2012-2019, by type of tourists
According to UNWTO, Argentina showed in 2019 a decrease for the third year in a row in the number of domestic trips. That year, residents in the South American country took around 90 million trips within the country, of which more than 45 million were overnight stays while 44.2 million were same-day visits to another place. During the depicted period, Argentina registered the largest number of domestic trips in the country in 2013, with 116.96 million.
