From 2015 to 2019, the share of Italians travelling for leisure and holiday purposes increased. According to the data, in 2015 roughly 60 percent of Italian respondents claimed to travel for leisure. In 2019, approximately 69 percent of all interviewees claimed to travel for this same purpose.
