This statistic presents the value added of a significant sample of employment agencies in Italy from 2015 to 2017. According to the data provided by Competitive Data, the value added of staffing agencies increased from roughly 4.6 billion euros in 2015 to 6.2 billion euros as of 2017.

* Companies active in the staffing sector. Data refer to the Italian market.
The source adds the following information: "Companies with significant (statutory) turnover, a degree of specialization in the sector greater than or equal to 50 percent of the total turnover, and active in all the financial years considered have been taken into account for the calculation. The calculation also takes into account the balance of power between companies. For example, companies with a too high turnover were discarded, so that their balance sheet structure does not excessively influence the average sector indicators."
