Chinese exports of solar PV modules to Africa 2018-2019

The exports of photovoltaic (PV) modules from China to Africa have amounted to around 1,200 MW in the first five months of 2019. After the introduction of the 531 policy of the Chinese government in May 2018, the exports of PV modules have soared, yet mainly to Asia Pacific and the European Union.
