Personal or private travel is by far the most popular mode of transport across the globe, accounting for 9.9 trillion miles of passenger travel in 2018. However, analysts believe that ride-sharing services are expected to grow significantly over the next four years, particularly in the passenger mobility segment, which will double the number of miles traveled to 87 billion in 2022.
