Opinion on cause of higher electricity prices Australia 2022
In a survey conducted in 2022 about the Australian publics' opinion on what was to blame for rising electricity prices, 48 percent of respondents stated that a reason was privatization of electricity generation and supply. In contrast, only 29 percent of respondents stated the reason was because renewable energy was too expensive.
