UK attitudes to renewable energy developments 2020

This statistic shows whether or not respondents to climate change public attitude survey in the United Kingdom (UK) would be likely to support a renewable energy development in their area between 2012 and 2020. Levels of agreement with the statement remain largely unchanged since 2012. In 2020, 33 percent of respondents strongly agreed with the statement, while 5 percent strongly disagreed in that year.

Survey methodology up to 2019 was a Kantar face-to-face omnibus survey. In 2020, a temporary Kantar online panel type of survey was introduced, which was not based on a random sample of respondents. Due to a change in survey methodology, the source states that direct comparisons between time series is not possible.
