According to the Ministry of the Environment, Energy and the Sea, the accumulation of carbon dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere accounts for two-thirds of the increase in greenhouse effect induced by human activities (combustion of gas, oil, deforestation ...). Current CO2 emissions will have an impact on atmospheric concentrations and global temperature over the coming years because it has a lifetime in the atmosphere of about 100 years.
