U.S. sheriffs' offices: distribution of personnel by office size and ethnicity 2016
In 2016, 88.8 percent of full-time sworn personnel in sheriffs' offices that had 25 to 49 employees in the United States were white. On the other hand, only 5.9 percent of employees of the same office size were black.
