Deaths due to heart diseases in Cuba 2013-2021
In 2021, more than 43,000 people died from heart diseases in Cuba. This represents an increase of nearly 44 percent compared to the previous year, when the number of deaths due to heart conditions amounted to around 29,960. Similarly, deaths attributed to influenza and pneumonia increased during the same period in the Caribbean nation.
