Public assessment of Dmitry Medvedev's government in Russia 2018
On May 7, 2018, Dmitry Medvedev was appointed Russia's prime minister for the second term, after his first term since the start of Vladimir Putin's presidency in May 2012. Over 40 percent of Russians assessed the work of Medvedev and his cabinet rather positively, while 12 percent were certain about the positive impact of their activity. In January 2020, the Russian government resigned, and Medvedev was suggested to take up the position of Deputy Secretary of the country's Security Council.
