Labor force participation rate of residents 65 years and above Singapore 2013-2022
In 2022, the labor force participation rate of Singapore residents aged 65 years and above was at 32.1 percent. The labor force participation rate for this age group had been increasing in the last ten years, as Singapore faces an ageing population with longer life expectancies. Many residents are increasingly facing the need to work longer or re-renter the workforce after retirement in order to support themselves, amongst other reasons.
