Distribution of SP voters in the Netherlands 2019, by age group
Of the SP electorate, nearly 20 percent was aged between 18 and 34 years old. This was well-below the share of 18-34 years old in the national population, which was 27 percent. The 55+-ers, on the other hand, were overrepresented in the SP electorate. 55+ers formed 40 percent of the Dutch population, and 46 percent of the SP supporters.
