Net export volume of Naphtha from India FY 2013-2018

For the second consecutive financial year, India witnessed a rise in its net export volume of naphtha, with the volume being pegged at 6.8 million metric tons for the financial year 2018. India was a surplus producer of naphtha, thus a net exporter.

Naphtha is a petroleum product obtained when refining of crude oil/gas takes place. Naphtha that was produced by India was suitable to be used as a fuel for power generation.
