Number of overnight stays in tourist accommodations in Russia 2013-2020
In 2020, more than 191 million overnight stays were recorded in tourist accommodation establishments across Russia. The decrease in figures was cause by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Prior to that, the indicator showed a continuous increase since the beginning of the observed period. The figure peaked in 2019 with a total of 283.19 million, which was higher than the previous year's overnight stay count by almost nine million.
