Reasons to not travel long-haul in Russia 2022
Approximately one fifth of Russians who did not plan to travel long-haul between September and December 2022 stated that they did not have travel plans for that period. For every tenth respondent, the reason to avoid making a trip outside the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) was the high cost of travelling to Europe. Furthermore, eight percent feared hostility toward Russians in view of the invasion of Ukraine.
