Inpatient occupancy days at public and private accredited hospitals in Italy 2018
The number of inpatient occupancy days at public hospitals and private hospitals accredited with the national health service (Servizio Sanitario Nazionale - SSN) in Italy reached approximately 53 million in 2018. As the graphic shows, the vast majority of inpatient care was provided by public hospitals.
