The share of individuals who resorted to a private hospital the last time they have had a health issue in Italy increased considerably between 2010 and 2019. According to the data, in fact, in 2010 this figure was equal to 4.8 percent, while by 2019 it reached 10.4 percent, thus more than doubling.
