Monthly export volume of vegetables from Kenya 2019-2021
Kenya registered an export volume of vegetables of over 6.6 thousand metric tons in December 2021. This represented an increase from four thousand metric tons in the previous month. After reaching the highest number of exported vegetables in January 2019, at some nine thousand metric tons, the export volume fluctuated in the following months. The horticultural industry has a big contribution to Kenyan's economy. The United Kingdom and France are the main markets for fresh vegetables produced in the country.
