Share of forging industry in India 2022, by capacity
As of March 2022, around 59 percent of forging companies in India had a capacity of up to 5,000 metric tons. These companies were classified as very small sized units. This was followed by companies that possessed capacities from 5,000 metric tons to 12,500 metric tons, with a share of 24 percent, termed as small sized units.
