Global nickel mine production by region 2021
In 2021, approximately 1.57 million metric tons of nickel were produced by mines in Asia. Thus, Asia was by far the world's leading primary nickel producing region. The Americas were the second largest regional producer of nickel that year, with a distant 390,500 metric tons produced.
