Number of connectors at electric vehicle charging stations by type in Colombia 2021
As of October 2020, the large majority of electric vehicle charging station connectors in Colombia were TYPE 2, with a total of 88 plugs registered. The second most common type of connector was the TYPE 1 (SAE J1772), with 76 plugs across the South American country. In 2020, there were 6,011 electric and hybrid vehicles registered in Colombia, which was almost double the amount registered a year prior.
