For each 10 active business enterprises in Angola in 2019, nearly six were in the province of Luanda. The area, where the Angolan capital is located, concentrated 33,121 companies in activity. All 18 provinces had active registered businesses in the same year. Overall, the Angolan business scene experienced an upward tendency in the last years, with the total number of active enterprises reaching roughly 56 thousand in 2019.
