Egypt: prices for cottage cheese in Egypt 2019-2020

As of July 2020, the monthly average price for cottage cheese amounted to 27.14 Egyptian pounds (1.73 U.S. dollars) per kilogram, an increase of around 1.5 percent from June 2020. During the period under review, the monthly mean price per kilogram ranged between 26.06 Egyptian pounds (1.66 U.S. dollars) and 27.14 Egyptian pounds (1.73 U.S. dollars). Price increases of the so-called "Areesh cheese" occurred in four months, namely February, May, and September 2019, and June 2020.
