Share of cargo traffic in Black Sea ports 2015-2019, by country
Russian ports in the Black Sea handled more than one half of the cargo traffic in the region in 2019. Ukraine followed, occupying nearly one quarter of the total cargo volume. Around 14 percent of cargo in CEE countries with ports in the Black Sea was handled in Romania.
