Cargo traffic in the Far Eastern basin ports of Russia 2015-2019, by type
Over recent years, the volume of cargo handled in the Russian ports located in the Far Eastern basin has increased. Bulk cargo tended to dominate the cargo traffic. In 2019, approximately 105 million metric tons of bulk cargo were handled in the Far Eastern basin ports of Russia, accounting for nearly one half of the cumulative cargo volume.
