As surveyed in March 2020, 61 percent of respondents were very likely to support the government's efforts to close all unregulated and illegal wildlife markets in Vietnam. Additionally, 29 percent stated that they were likely to support the mentioned efforts by the authority. By comparison, one percent of respondents were unlikely to do so.
