In 2020, the number of cases of anorexia nervosa or bulimia recorded in Spain amounted to more than 79 thousand, up from 77.5 thousand registered a year prior. The number of eating disorder cases increased by over 400 percent in the country compared to 2011, when anorexia nervosa or bulimia cases reached 14.6 thousand.
