In a survey conducted in 2020 about climate change in New Zealand, 83 percent of respondents believed that businesses should ensure they reduce carbon emissions to keep in line with global targets. In the same survey, just 21 percent of respondents thought that insurers and banks should get those in low-risk places to help pay for high-risk places.
