The survey reveals that 52 percent of the respondents living in rural communes declared the impact of environmental pollution on health as a topic of concern. 40 percent of French people living in a provincial urban commune (like Marseille, Lyon, Bordeaux or Strasbourg) mentioned the pollution of seas and oceans as a concern in terms of ecology, whereas 30 percent of Paris' residents and 30 percent of rural residents stated the same.
