Japan: opinions on charging a fee for disposable plastic products

According to a survey conducted on disposable plastic products and packaging in September 2020, around 62 percent of Japanese respondents agreed to some extent that Japan should regulate the use of disposable plastic products by charging a fee. On the other hand, over 31 percent stated that disposable plastic products should not be charged.
