Survey on who opened primary bank card in Russia 2021, by age group
The majority of bank cards in Russia were opened personally by the card holders or their legal representatives, according to a survey from 2021. However, independent opening of bank cards was more common among younger generations. More than one third of bank cards owned by persons over 60 years old were opened by their employers.
