Industries with the highest employee burnout rate worldwide 2019
In 2019, hotel, food services and hospitality was the industry with the highest burnout rate worldwide. About 80 percent of people employed in this sector stated that they felt overwhelmed by their workload. A significant share of employees suffering from burnout was also reported in manufacturing and medical and health care industries, with more than 76 percent of the respondents.
