Climate finance worldwide by destination

From 2016 to 2020, developed countries provided and mobilized approximately 374 billion U.S. dollars for climate action in developing countries, or an average of 75 billion dollars per year. Asian countries were the main beneficiaries, receiving an average of 31.2 billion dollars per year in the period - or some 42 percent of the finance volume. Africa followed, with an annual average of 19.5 billion dollars.
