
Electricity prices for businesses in Africa 2021, by country
Businesses in Burkina Faso paid the highest price for electricity in Africa, around 0.42 U.S. dollars for one kilowatt hour as of December 2021. The amount was the double of that registered in Ivory Coast, second most expensive country for business electricity in the continent. On the other hand, Libya, Ethiopia, Lesotho, Sudan, and Angola recorded the lowest electricity prices for businesses in Africa in the same period.
