Share of population with electricity in Sub-Saharan Africa 2010-2020
In 2020, the share of the population with access to electricity in Sub-Saharan Africa increased by 1.3 percentage points since 2019. With 48.23 percent, the share thereby reached its highest value in the observed period. Notably, the share has been, with the exception of 2017, continuously increasing over the last years.
