Reasons not to take summer vacations Europe 2021

A May 2021 study focused on the main reasons behind Europeans' decisions not to take a summer vacation in 2020 and 2021. While 22 percent of respondents claimed they did not travel in 2020 because they could not afford it, 27 percent of the survey sample stated the same in 2021. Meanwhile, the share of surveyed Europeans that did not take summer holidays because of being afraid of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic dropped from 33 percent in 2020 to 26 percent in 2021.
