Transportation for domestic and outbound vacations in Germany 2019
This statistic shows the percentage distribution of types of transportation used for domestic and outbound vacation trips among the German population in 2019. 9 percent of all domestic vacation trips that year were made by bus, while the majority, 75 percent, were made with a car or caravan. Meanwhile, most respondents preferred air travel for going abroad on vacation, with 58 percent opting for this type of transportation.
