Self-reported license points, collisions, and injuries among UK's gig drivers 2018
In a 2018 survey, around 42 percent of respondents in the UK stated that their vehicles have been damaged as a result of a road accident while working as a gig driver or rider. By contrast, only eight percent of respondents had received penalty points on their driving license.
