As of March 31, 2022, Japan Airlines Co., Ltd. had 58 Boeing 737-800 aircraft as full-service carriers in service, representing the fleet's leading model (and another six of this model as low-cost carriers). The Boeing 737 is a narrow-body airliner for short-haul flights; the model variant 800 belongs to the third generation of the B737 family.
