Matters involving family relations, such as, inheritance litigations, adoption procedures, divorces, and many others, accounted for more than 21 percent of all new legal cases handled by French courts in 2021. Moreover, contractual issues were the subject of 12.1 percent of all new legal cases handled in that same year.
