Role of climate change action in public voting intention

In 2021, nearly 82 percent of Indian respondents to a survey believed that the record and position on climate action of a political candidate were important for their voting decisions. From the same survey, 70 percent of Indian respondents believed that their country was a leader in fighting climate change.
