As of August 2022, there have been 17 Chief Justices of the Supreme Court of the United States. Of those 17, all were men. Of the 116 Associate Justices, 6 have been women, including Sandra Day O'Connor, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Amy Coney Barrett, and Ketanji Brown Jackson.
