According to a survey on online shopping behavior conducted by Rakuten Insight in June 2022, 71 percent of respondents in Vietnam stated that they paid via cash on delivery for their online shopping in the last three months. Mobile wallets followed as the second most used method for online shopping payment, as indicated by 54 percent of the respondents.
