VPN usage has soared to new heights in recent years with no signs of it slowing down. Coupled with an increasing number of cyber threats, VPNs can either enhance or weaken companies' security posture. In 2023, 88 percent of respondents from a global survey reported being concerned that VPNs may jeopardize the ability to keep their environment secure.
