Truck sales by weight class worldwide forecast 2021-2030
Heavy-duty trucks made up the largest share of the global medium and heavy truck sales in 2021, with around 2.64 million heavy commercial vehicles sold that year. This weight class is forecast to remain the best-seller by 2030, when sales of heavy trucks are expected to reach some 4.76 million units. In contrast, the medium-duty truck market is projected to record a slower expansion.
