Renewable power capacity of the main electricity suppliers in Spain 2021
Iberdrola's installed renewable capacity in Spain amounted to a total of 17,967 megawatts in 2021, more than any other electricity supplier in the country. Out of this figure, 9,715 megawatts were hydropower, whereas the remaining 8,252 megawatts belonged to other renewables. Endesa followed in second position, with 4,746 megawatts of installed hydropower capacity and 3,643 megawatts of other renewables capacity. That year, both Iberdrola and Endesa combined accounted for nearly half of the total capacity installed in Spain.
