Leading beneficiary countries of Indian lines of credit 2001-2022
The highest beneficiary from the lines of credit over the financial years from 2001 to 2022 was the neighboring country of Bangladesh with over seven billion U.S. dollars of credit. Furthermore, about 54 percent of the Indian lines of credit in that period was provided to Asian countries and about 37 percent to African countries.
